The Glatchers. A humble name whose reputation shun the spotlight, but still somehow preserved a potent presence throughout passing decades. We don’t know much about the Glatcher family, but we are certain of three things: their dedication to fabric manipulation and tailoring, their passion for manufacturing headwear of impressive quality, all on top of a distinctive excellence in craftsmanship. It all started in the 1880s, when head of the family, Charles Glatcher, immigrated to America and was employed shortly after by The Woolen Mill in Massachusetts. After years of loyal service, he boldly decided to start his own company – Glatcher Headwear-, in 1886. Only 3 had passed since its inauguration and Charles was already asked to dress the reputed National League Baseball team Baltimore Orioles. A truly Cinderella story. But with Charles’ timely passing, a great talent disappeared, and along with it the revered Glatcher brand. Now, after decades of absence, the original American brand Glatcher is finally back. Delivering the finest quality caps available, just like Charles Glatcher did more than a century ago. With its sporty background, it was clear that Glatcher chose the same path as Charles did: making caps for professional sports teams and collaborating with the most prominent professional athletes of today.
Not all good stories come to an end. Glatcher is finally back.
